Default im living a real life soap opera

I posted on valentines day that my future wife wanted to end things. I was able to take that. I wanted to use the phone tonight (while I thought she was sleeping) and I hear her whispering on the phone, right when I heard my good friends voice saying " I am so glad we are going through with this" I quietly hung up and went into my bedroom. She then quikly turned over and hid the phone and hung up. I asked what was going on and she only said "we are interested in each other". Now I am stuck here with a house a dog and nerves shot to hell. I want to so bad just move on but we have built so much together and because this guy wasnt happy with his own home life had to sweeten up to my fiance totally screws me over. I tried talking to her father about it and he sees nothing wrong with it. I have done everything a guy could do, I put myself second to her and know all this. She and my old friend are completly satisfied with it all. I just dont know what to do. Sell everything I get half and they get the other half I should have?
I know this isnt the place to talk about this but this all just happened and I cant talk to anybody else right now.

Dude, I feel for you. I've been there, with my ex. I went from wanting to run and hide, to wanting to get a big stick, and, well....

Trust me, though, you can recover. It hurts, and feels like it'll take forever, but you'll make it.

How much is in your name? How much hers? How much jointly? This could actually end up worse than a divorce.

Nothing you can do or say will make her change her mind, or ever instill any trust. Write it off, move on. I went through this after 10 years of marriage and 2 kids. You're lucky it never went that far.

I feel for ya. My ex left me for my best friend. I wasn't too happy about that. There'* not much you can do now to make things feel better. It will take time but eventually everything will be done with and you will move on. You will find someone that you were truly meant to be with.

Everything is in both our names except the cars.

Just lot'* of "Oh, I should....." and "It'd be great to...". Kept it civil as possible though. I still had the kids to think of, and I still do get aloong with her family. No need to do something stupid, lose my kids, and maybe end up in jail. But the "planning" seemed to help me burn off stress. So did drinking. Before it started I was almost up to six digits in my bank account. I drank myself broke. Not something I'm proud of, or would recommend.

<<<<buys you a virtual drink>>>>>

Better to find out now than 10 years from now when you have 2 kids and a fat retirement account. I feel your pain..I really do. I have never been there all the way but my wife and I went thru some rough patches, thankfully a Higher power brought us back. Things are pretty good now, but I had sworn off women forever when they werent good. I would probably still swear off women if she left me tomorrow, but I have had some major heartbreaks thru this marriage to get to where we are today.

Whats the dominant feeling you have right now?
