I'm very sorry when I was using your thread for my own problems. (But hey).

I am very happy for you that you have the opportunity to explore and discover many ways of taking care of your own car.
Because the truth is, some car mechanics can be real jerks for money.

lately, you have to be a computer scientist to work on the car. all these computers and electronically controlled components. what ever happened to the good ol fashioned days when you could just cram your mechanic under the hood of the car, and drive around with him in the engine compartment till he figured out what was wrong. only to discover an exaust leak too. nowadays computers are diagnosing and fixing computers.

OH THE INSANITY!!!
