i noticed last night while standing against the 97 with my two brothers that the front tires on the 94 HAD WIRES SHOWING AND WERE BALD!!!!.So i asked my wife why cause she'd said that she got new tires on it in April.well i haven't been under the car much so i guess i never noticed.and when i asked where she got the tire how much they cost and if they were new she said no.therefore this morning i went to Boland tire(the local firestone tire shop) and got 4 brand new goodyear assurance comfortreads on it for her.107 bucks a peice 30 bucks to balance them and 4 bucks each for stems and install.....Grand total.....474 bucks even.But she told me that she bought used tires for ten bucks thats why they were shot already so i feel better now knowing my wife has some nice brand new tires to roll on and now i am going outside to wash it wax it buff it clean the rims and detail the interior probably steam clean also

I've never bought used tires. I usually just buy the cheapest new ones I can get! LOL

I've started picking up used when things are right. Cars get totalled with new tires.

ur not a bad husband.. ur just a typical male. LOL. But there is nothing like the piece of mind of having new tires on a vehicle that ur soulmate is driving. Just a few hours ago Me and my girlfriend picked up my mom and two sisters and headed to the closest big city to visit a collage and it was POURING rain. we could bearily see. There was 6inches of standing water on certain parts of the 4 lane expressway. we were traveling at about 45-50 mph and hitting these spots of water and the brand new tires would cut right threw the water, provide ample traction and we all felt safe.

but i used to buy used when i had large rims because they are cheaper. I recently got 3 18" tires for a set of $10 speakers! Yay Me

you know thats kind of ironic cause i got woke up by that same storm system and as soon as i woke up i headed for firestone like seriously ive never hydroplaned so bad in my life on the way there couldnt see but maybe20-30 feet ahead of me and on the way back theose new assurance'* did what theyre named they assured me i was safe and that my wife will be to i take her saftey very seriously its also funny cause the car shook at certain speeds and i asked her if they balanced her 10 dollar tires she said yes well they didnt do a very good job cause now that they are properly balanced the shaking is gone whooo hooo

yeah i spend good money for good quality espically when it comes to tires
