I'm back...
Absolutely go in the Army. It is often not fair, not logical- but it takes fortitude to raise one'* right hand. It doesn't work out for all. My best buddy went in a E1, left as a E1 3 years later and is an attorney today. Rank often doesn't mean anything except sometime how well you work the system or how well you kiss ***. Rarely do I meet someone who regretted enlisting in the Army. The rare exception is usually gifted individuals that do not know they are gifted.

Uhmmmm, You were gone??? Nice thing about getting as old as me. Ya meet new friends over and over again, everyday!. OK, who hid my teeth. Time for a bite of my chaw.
I'll be brief with you, as this isn't the right forum for it. I think I learned a lot from the Army, would I go back? No. Do I miss it? Yes.
I'm still driving my Bonneville, I swear she keeps chugging along with nothing but bolts and washers. How are your cars doing? I'm assuming GXP still has his Red GXP?

He has peel-n-press scoops on his winter hood and a truly awesome one off custom hood for spring/summer/fall
