Does the easyshare still use proprietary software to get the pics off the cam? They used to, but not sure if they still do.

When it comes time to replace that sucker, there'* a TON of good cameras in that price range now.

Do you have to use the Kodak software to get the pics off the camera and print them? Or can you see the camera'* storage in windows explorer?

I think you might have to for the Kodak. My parents have a newer one and the pictures go into the Kodak program to upload them to the computer. But to get around the annoyances of that program we use Picasa which pulls the pictures into the program and is a great program.

We use Kodak, but my mom does have Picasa.
