I'd buy the Buick Ultra. Looks so plush and luxurious in and out. Perfect sleeper with good looks and best of all the Series II L67 just waiting for mods....mmmm....3.3 pulley....But that DAMN COLUMN SHIFTER!!!!

Anyone know if the Ultra has the digital Boost readout like the Regal GS'* do in the information center?

Seriously though, this is one of those cars that definatly gets shined up and waxed often so you can roll up to a stop light and show the Ricer'* and Mustang boys what'* up. I'd seriously consider one but that DAMN COLUMN SHIFTER!!!!

I'm 6'2", but that'* not the issue. I'm sure there'* crazy leg room in that car. I just hate column shifters. Especially in a car that A: would look better with a full center console and shifter, and B:is not a slow turn like an old LeSabre or something. To me, just doesn't feel right not having gear slection up on the steering column and not in the middle like a manual car.

DJ, I thought the same thing until I test drove my Ultra. Once you get used to reaching forward instead of down, it doesn't bother you at all. And not having the console close in around your legs makes the interior fell HUGE, without giving up the extra storage and armrest that the console gives you. I'm willing to put up with it for the sake of having the biggest sleeper in my city.

The suspension is also incredible. I have the F41 in mine, and it feels just as tight as any SSEi that I've driven, with just a scoche more body roll, but much more forgiving on bad pavement,

The DIC doesn't have a boost readout, at least, not in my 98. I'm planning on putting a small guage up on the dash at the bottom of the A-pillar, where it will be practically invisible, except from the driver'* seat.( No pillar-pods for me, it'* a dead give-away that the car is modded)

I'm going to be beginning mods on mine soon, I'll obviously keep everyone informed.

Nope! The Ultra gets buckets, with a center console. The console doesn't connect to the dash though. It'* as good as a full console, cup-holder, CD storage, and tape storage, along with two power-points.

(Sorry about small pictures, CarDomain is f'ed up.)
