well today at the shop a F-body Camero came in "No start" so we found out the fuel pump was shot so we told the customer they said they would do it themselves
well instead of dropping the tank they cut a hole in the Floor

i have seen it done on trucks but not cars

did they blow themselves up?

No.... You just cut through the sheetmetal under the back seat... not through the tank and lines. I considered it once upon a time back in the day for almost a whole 30 seconds.
