i live in oklahoma city.

its pretty bad. finals were "cancelled" yesterday at OU, most of OU was without power. a lot of businesses closed. nancys car was surrounded by an impenetrable fortress of ice for the better part of two days. (i mean like, seriously thick. i wanted to take a picture but i was too lazy). the tree in our front yard came down (most of it) but didnt damage anything. most of our neighbors who have (had) trees have had severe damage to their houses or cars because of the trees falling. OU campus looks like a hurricane whipped through with all the downed trees. most of my family is without power, but have politely declined my offer to stay here. our power flickered a couple times and went out during the night sunday, but other than that, we escaped miraculously unharmed.

oh, and our roof sprouted a leak.

In Iowa we got covered with ice. Everything is covered lol its crazy.

I know OKC was heavily affected, I worked a 14 hour day yesterday and am finishing out another today due to the fact that they are a sister site for my company and people cannot make it to work safely.

I don't hate to say it but,it was almost 80 here today

Its been 80 here for the past week. Its gonna get cold tho on sunday...high of 65
