SP1 fixed the RAM issue...yay!

I am still interested overclocking, just to say I did it. My case fans are louder than this CPU fan, so it doesnt really matter.

You have an 8500 GT right? Not really gonna get much better than that... You could try OCing the GPU, but wont get too much more than that.

I haven't don't anything with my 8800gt yet, but I have on my GEF 4200ti and my ATI 9600xt before, with some decent results.

If you're not gaming though, doesn't matter. You're not doing any real intensive 3d modeling or rederring, so gains by stressing your video card are moot.

DO NOT adjust your PCI-E bus speed, lock it to 100mhz if you can, GPU'* don't like getting off of that 100mhz clock speed.

sorry... i read the first page and then replied right when i seen his post that said he was looking for a hp screen as well...
