I thought vista had some sort of funky dynamic memory usage where it allocates a certain amount for use only when it is needed or something?

maybe im way off base, i'm not making the jump just yet.

Did you download the SP1 update? I installed 4GB of mem into my brothers new laptop and it showed just over 3GB now after the update it shows 4GB. I am not sure if it uses all 4GB or not. I have seen mixed reviews on this issue. However the system looks great and if you want a better video score you have to spend more money that you may not have and get a graphics card that you will never use if your not gaming.

I'm not sure if I have installed SP1 yet.. I have been doing so many updates I lost track. I'll look into it.

As far as the graphics, I guess I just don't understand why my "Gaming" score is 5.1, but my Graphics is 4.3 I figured they would be basically the same. :?

Same here before sp1 it showed me having 3.5gb of ram but now it shows 4.0. Thanks for bringing that to my attention.

Yeah I am not too sure why that is. They should both run the same 3D graphics.

If any of you computer nuts could figure this out, I would really appreciate it.

if you are not running graphic intensive 3D games I would not over clock. it would create more heat therefore more fan noise and I don't know about you but hot computers is small rooms suck.
