I was tempted by a CTS-V........

If you want a Cadillac V, then you want the STS-V (469HP) or the XLR-V (built out of a Corvette)

No I don't want a Cadillac, but if I did it would be a V series for sure. My post stated it was tempting....and it was.......the CTS-V was only $15000 more than my G6 GTP, but my hands are tied.......and since no one has offered to buy my Bonnie for 50 grand I guess a temptation it will forever be!

I totally agree with the general concensus up here.....the CTS-V and STS-V are HOT cars!

FYI for whomever... I don't come into threads (or this board for that matter) with the intent to put down anything. The OP made a comment and I addressed that with my remarks.

The CTS-V is an awesome machine, it'* low point is probably the interior design for some people, but it does damn near everything right.

How are the suspensions on those V cars? They are stiff like a perf car should be rightz?

I have a good bud that used to have an 04 CTS, not the V, and he ate up rear diffs as well. He sold the car.

I was looking at the CTS in 04 to replace my 95 Bonny but the lack of trunk room in the CTS did it in for me. Translated it means the wife changed my mind. LOL.
