i live in mankato, and drive 23 miles to work everyday in a small town called madelia, we have several banks in town, and i choose to bank with Farmers State Bank of Madelia because they were the first bank i tried for my loan of the 00, and i was approved.

i regularly check my online banking balance, daily if not more...

on the main page there is a place to log on, and i typed my user name and password, and it was delayed a little and then went to this site that looks like total BS, it was totally off the rest of the theme from the site, and was asking for, credit card information, expiration date, 3digit verification number, and even the ATM pin number.. im like...

yeah right...

i called the bank right away and asked to speak to someone that deals with the online banking.. i got a lady on the phone that sounded clueless.. i told her that their site had been hacked and that something needs to be done RIGHT AWAY

she said ok, i will get to it as soon as i can :? (no rush in her voice)

i hung up the phone feeling like i didnt help out at all because they didnt understand the severity of the situation... its not everyday that a bank website gets hacked!

after about an hour, and the site still being up, i got frustrated and i took off work and went to talk to the president... the secretary laughed at me when i asked to speak to the president, like i wasnt cool enough

i told him what was going on, and hes like oh dear... he notified someone else...

site was down about 15 min later... i hope they figure it out, and i really hope nobody put in that information...
