These guys will never understand the significance of low end torque. Even the L27 and L36 excel in this area. Most of the import crowd is so hung up on HP (cuz that'* all they got) that the fail to look at the torque, where real power actually comes from.
Glad you stayed in the family, Bean!

65+ mph in a 1/4....WOW that is Nasty Slow! I think you were probably going more like 88 mph in the 1/4, or you were going 65 in something less than the 1/4. In any event, it is nice that you let the Accord now what a sleeper those LeSabres can be! Good Show!

I think that Mr. Bean was just so excited when he posted his story, that he didn't realize what he was saying. Anyway, I think I am feeling the overall sentiment when I say, "Nice job Bob."

I agree. Surely if wasn't that for real!!
Accord V6 stickshift? Those things came back for 2003 for only the coupe, and get to 60mph in 5.9 seconds... either the guy you were racing wasn't going all out, or it wasn't a 2003 stickshift
These Accords do have a decent low end, with their 211lb-ft at 5000rpm. However, their low end does not hold up to a 3800 though.
