I know its a stretch, but it might be kinda fun. what would it take to drop my bonneville engine and tranny into my tempo? dont cop out and say its impossible either, because i know it is possible. what would it take though? any ideas? or would i really need to alter the structure of this car <like extending the front end>

I don't think Chip Foose would even take that job on.

You're going to need to do a LOT of strengthening to get anything out of that soupy Tempo chassis.

Because they make kits for that now.....I don't think they make a conversion kit for L67 into a tempo....IMO not something that I would try....More power to ya if you pull it off though.

now that i think about it, its really not worth it. its cramped working on that car as it is with a four banger in it. it would be worse than working on the taurus. i had to get on top of the engine of that thing just to remove spark plug wires. the engine compartment in the tempo is even smaller than that. maybe i should worry about breaking in the engine first before trying to pull off performance crap shouldnt i?
