Recently i have been hearing this roaring noise coming from my front driver side wheel. i thought it was a wheel bearing or something going out so i called the guy i bought the car from to give it a test drive and tell me what he thought it was so i could call the warranty company and put my car in for the work to be done. He comes and gets my car, takes it for a drive and comes back an hour later saying that he took it back to his shop and looked at it and 4 of the 5 lugnuts on the front driver side tire were loose and 3 of them were finger loose to the point they almost fell off. he tightened 4 up and when he went to do the 5th one, the lug snapped in 2 pieces. well the last person to touch my lugnuts or tires for that matter was the fast lane place at the Ford dealership which was right next door to where i bought my car from cause when i traded my silver GP for this GP i wanted my rims switched so they did it for a good price. So i call them and tell them the situation and that my car has ridden like that for a little while and that one of the lugs just snapped right off when i went to retighten it. they offer to come and get my car and replace that one lug and i have them come get it and the guy i bought my car from called me to inform me that if one was able to do that due to me riding that way for God knows how long that it was possible for the others to have become brittle too and that all of them needed to be replaced. the dealership told me no that they were only replacing that one. Mom got involved and they wound up replacing all 5 of them. So they hand me my keys back and the mechanic tells me that my lugnuts are going to need to be replaced soon cause they are worn out now due to me riding like that and i leave and call mom and tell her about that and she is like lemme call u back and she calls them back and complains about that and supposedly they are supposed to be ordering me new lug nuts and a chrome lug cap that they kept and lost when i handed them the broken stud with the lugnut and chrome cap still attached. So, i am still waiting to see what they are going to do for me. That is so scary though cause me and mom went to a graduation party for me and a friend of mine saturday night 45 miles away on open highway doing highways speeds and my wheel could have just come off. Praise the Lord nothing like that happened.
