These prices are all very high for a newer car. I had a friend buy a '96 SE, basic.. the only option it had was leather, not even a CD Player. Now, she paid $2500 for the car. Privately, and I don't remember seeing the car for sale more than a month. To me, a car a few years younger will getcha something a whole lot cheaper. Just my $.02

Trade in is like $5400-$5600 on my truck...I still owe $7100ish...I will NOT take anything less than payoff and everyone I talk to knows this...I have tried to private party it and no one called and I had it for sale forever...so Trade in is my only option.. I will NOT roll over any money from this pos truck to my new car...And for the final time I will NOT buy anything older than what I have....

I know you won't buy anything older than what you own. But you are looking at $10k 00'*, and you could get a 98/99 for less. $7,500 is a lot of money [to me at least], and for a four year difference? I don't know, seems like a lot better deal to me.

I want to buy something that is a 2000 or newer...I'm tired of dealing with the 1990'* mistakes...I make about $700 every 2 weeks so yea $7500 is a lot but its not outta my reach by any means. I just need something more reliable and want to go newer...
