i feel bad
I was taking my brother to church the other day, when all of a sudden a little bunny rabbit jumped out in front of my car. Out of reflex I slammed on my brakes, the car started to go over the top of the rabbit, when I heard a loud THUD. I figured it just hit the under-carriage or something. So Thursday I pulled the car up into the driveway for my routine maintenance, and I looked down at the bumper, in that lower grille. What did I see? A rabbit jammed in between the hood release support and my radiator. Poor little guy hit so hard it dented the radiator. I was only going like 40. :?

Awwww....and Yuck! :(
If you're like most people, that makes you feel pretty sad. As jaded as we get about life and humor, the reality of killing a small animal with the car somehow strikes a chord.

Don't get me wrong, I have killed squirrels and rabbits when I was hunting them and I've shot squirrels to try and keep them out of the bird feeder. Then I ate the meat and tanned the skins. It'* just the act of hitting them with a car that seems wrong to me...
Go figure...
