Default I don't get it...

I've wasted so much money on technology these days, I think I'm just done with it. I've gone through 3 ROUTERS in the last 2 years, because each one of them has broke. One of them just quit working altogether, the other one dropped your internet connection every 5 minutes, and now the one I have right now is starting to drop our connections. This is making me furious

On TOP of that, I just spent a good 2 months trying to figure out what was wrong with the internet. I usually get a good 1200 kbps (I know, slow), but it used to be with my desktop sometimes I was getting around 100 kbps . I decided to reinstall windows and it seemed to work fine. Up until now I JUST PUT 250 BUCKS INTO THE STUPID THING AND IT DECIDES TO START DOING THAT AGAIN! damn that pisses me off... I don't know what to do... I'm not happy one bit...

Linksys router (the newer ones) really do NOT like heat or being warm for long times.

a friend of mine uses them in the Food Stores he does IT work for and when they are in a hot cabent they die like in 3 -6 months.

so if you do not put it in a open air space that might be making it die.

also power has a lot to do with it also, if the power is not clean in the house it can kill thing like routers faster.

OMG! THAT'* IT!!! The last ones got SO damn hot my brother said he nearly burned himself on one I think I might have blocked the airflow by putting one on top of the other. Thanks Badnit! I'm gonna try that right now!
