Frank,

Take the hour grab a Timmies and go see the Dr.. I know how it sucks sitting in the office waiting but don't mess with your knees. Better to see the Dr now then be told in 6 months when you can't walk that you need a Knee replacement.

Or.......... better to be told now that you need a knee replacement so that in six months you might actually get it.

This phobia with doctors has been with me my whole life. I've had more than one family doctor so changing doctors won't make any difference since I have the same concerns with specialists. One time I went for my physical and has a list of concerns on paper, when the doctor took a look at it, his reply was simply................oh boy...........this looks like the type of list hat you would take into a shop to get your car repaired. Of the 7 concerns, only one was cured, 2 went away on there own and 4 remain.

You know what guys, if anything I though we would stick together but in fact.........you're sending me to the wolves.

In hindsight, it'* not really a phobia, I just find that they don't really help much.

Now I see it differently Bill,

The kids will move out in about 10 years..........two cures gone.
The wife can be trained just as she tells others that I am trained.......another cure gone.
90% of the to do list was repaired at NEBF 07. The remaining 10% were thrown by the waste side along with the signing of the cross to give it a sort of burial. In other words. May God have mercy on its soul.

Hey, come on now, I do have sympathy for you. I hate going to doctors myself. Most of the time they don't seem to know what is wrong and just take guesses and tell you to come back if they guess wrong. That way they can bill for an extra office visit.

More than once I've been sicker than h*ll with pneumonia and probably would have died if the wife hadn't physically dragged my *** to emergency for a pennicillin shot.

The doctor that I go to when absolutely nessessary retired a few years ago and was replaced by a VERY good looking young woman doctor. Even though I don't trust her any more than I did the old doctor, she'* much better to look at.

I suffer from constant Knee issues.. If the swelling has not subsided with anything you have done.... You need to get checked out..
If Mic'* Knee was 3x'* its normal size for several days on end would you make him go ?
Just food for thought Frank
And trust me frank... You don't want to see what they are doing to me now to control my pain
I hear ya Don, I know I need to go. Now as for MIck, if he was having the same problem Cathy would grab him by the ear and force him to go. Well maybe not the ear.
