I did my taxes today and.......
I wouldn't get too excited. Its mostly your money the goverment is holding throughout the year. You may want to claim more so they let you keep more during the year.
I think that'* how it works.

Eh, all this money is awesome! But it'* not all going to fun and play. I wish it was though lol. I'm paying off 2 credit card bills ($450.00 total), paying a medical bill from the doctor ($400.00), giving my parents $500.00, and thats the jist of bills I think. So right there is $1,350 gone.
Now to the fun...I'm not going to buy those rims I found, yes they are HOT! but I'd rather find GXP'* or Swoopies for around $600.00 if I can find any for that price, I'm tinting my windows ($100.00), Taking my daughter clothes shoppin and myself too of course lol so figure roughly ($400.00). So all that right there is $1,100
But that still leaves me roughly $2,000. Not sure what i want to do yet with that. I might end up buying a warranty for the Ei, so we'll see.

If I was a parent and making under $20k a year, I'd definitley NOT spend the extra on rims or anything like that.
I agree with Hans...invest it! Put it in your daughters college fund.
