I hope you get to do something fun. I used to get excited over refunds like that. It all goes to bills anyways, or invisible repairs. Plumber is getting most of ours for some long overdue repairs (entire drain system in the house and move washer to the garage)

When you have a kid and make under $20,000 its called earned income credit. I get back all the money I put into Federal Taxes, plus $2,000 credit for Britanie, ontop of what I would have gotten back anyway.

That EIC rocks! But, I dont think it makes up for having a dependent child and having an income under $20k. I think the cost of having a child is a little more than $5k, no?

Congrats on the big refund! Any plans?

We did OK this year...we dont have to pay in at all, and that rocks! We are only getting back $850 total, but hey I cant complain about that either!

Me and my wife owe $7000.00 .......it'* just wonderful. Plus, they want us to pay a penalty for not letting them hold our money throughout the year.
