I'm not married either, but if she was 'the one' for you, things should work out. If it were me I'd try to get her back, but I could only take no so many times. If she'* not the one, you'll find someone better. I hope things work out. Keep your head up.

Wow ssesc93...I am so sorry to hear that...I know it'* old cliche but the pain dosn't last forever. Words of wisdom passed on from Willwren & Jstpsntyme to me when I went through a bad break up (and i mean BAD-the whole cheating and getting my tires cut and lying and court kinda BAD)...and even though it hurt then, and I was miserable and sad and irritable and just not a happy person to be around....i would do it all over again. Why?? Because I wouldn't be where I am nw, with who I am now, and I wouldn't have realized that there is someone out there who is actually better for me.
Someone new will come along sometime...it'* inevitable in a world that'* more than 50% female for you.
My advice to you is to try to stay busy and keep your mind off of her. Gone Hollywood became my best friend at that time...and believe me, he was A LOT more reliable than the Ex...talking to people can really help too, and it helps to get it out of your system. I always feel frustrated when other people drop comments about others and how they keep rambling and crying about their ex'* is annoying...how else are you supposed to get it out of your system?? so feel free to post away in here. and let us know if we can help you in anyway.
It'* my turn to reciprocate....I know there are a few people (you know who you are ) here who probably have grey hair from me crying and moaning and ranting in the past

Ok....i'm rambling now.

When I was with my ex, I never payed attention to my Bonne. I put her first. But we split and my Bonne was my "g/f" after that (like Tamara and Gone Hollywood). I put myself first, you have to do that. You're the most important person in your life. Then I put my car first too. Now look where I am, happily single with a faster and sweeter car!

I hope that helps

I did the same thing. This is the real reason why I am not in the '98 I have today.

Think back to the most horrific physical pain you ever felt...now try to remember exactly what it felt like. Can you? God made us a resilliant people who move on from the pain in our lives; if you need comfort, ask Him (forgive me if I'm out of line, but this is how I deal with problems and it works for me).

I wish that I had a way to talk instead of typing what happened but it will be a week before I even finish. I just want her back. I don't know if there is anyone else out there for me! :(

At least you are young and there are no kids involved to weigh you down and deter others from being interested...that'* the silver lining to this cloud i suppose.

You're 24. There will be more girls in your life if this one does not work out. I honestly thought that when me and my ex broke up, that I would never find anyone else. I didn't want anyone else. But I thought, I'm 21, I have a lot of time to find other girls. The fact was, it wasn't working between us, and there was really no chance of it working. I was actually looking forward to the freedom!

I had to make things right with myself. You have to make yourself happy before you could make another girl happy. (Of course by "you" I mean the universal "you")
