kind of... just like a dual core is only one actual procesor acting like two, a quad is one physical processor acting like 4.

thats the simplistic version of course...

for most people though a quad is just for bragging rights, heck, a dual core is just for bragging rights for most still...

but i have a AMD X2 6000 dual core... (computer nerd checking in! )

He'* building a decently quick machine. I guess you could kind of think of four processors.

By two terabytes of raid storage... he means 2000 GB of fast hard drive space.

He'* saying you've provided the cherry for the top of his strawberry sundae lol.

I run a Turion 64 X2 TL-50 atm When the Toshiba comes back from the shop, that will have a TL-56. Not a big gamer if you can tell, just a multitasker lol

I am building a killer four-brain computerwith over 2000 gigabytes of Redundant Array of (Inexpensive / Independent) Disks. I will have a lot of hard drives working as one, and this will effectively make my computer respond more quickly and find files sooner than computers with one hard drive. The monitor will be a great final piece!...

Thanks
