I can remember the days when we found some of our best furniture at the roadside. Now I more often am the one putting something out by the road for some other lucky soul to find.

I am a huge believer in passing things on to others for their use, rather than throwing things into the landfill.

There is even a pretty large movement that gets people together that want things and need to get rid of things. I forgot the site that organizes folks in your town, but will try to remember and post it tonight.

I'm going to have to disagree on that... You wouldn't believe how bad your tube monitor is until you switch to LCD. The color/clarity degrades slowly over time for the CRT. You just don't realize

yeah, i agree, i love my LCDs, but they just dont have the same depth that a CRT does. I just don't have any CRTs left.

Nice score andrew, thats one nice entertainment center, but what is that thing on the top right? looks like an old apple printer or something.

Yeah, that'* exactly the one I was thinking of. In Deltona, where I live, there are thousands of people that use it. Thanks!

I have to agree with haro. My fiancee has a 17" LCD and I have a 21" CRT and prefer the CRT any day,the LCD gives me headaches
