HUGE scores this weekend
this weekend was junk days in north mankato.. i am one of those people that drive up and down the street at 2mph with a truck and trailer grabbing as much junk as i can find..
this is one of my huge scores... entertainment center.. this was laying face down in someones front yard, in pieces... i could tell some of it was busted up, but the rest of it looked pretty good.. when i got it home i found out it was kind of a 3 section piece and the entire left side was broken off.. so i customized it to fit in my room and then rebuilt the top left corner of it to make it look somewhat normal... i figure this to be at least a $200 wal-mart piece

the next score i found sitting in front of someones house facing their house, so you could not see how new the appliances were.. i got out and looked at them, and they looked completely mint to me.. so im standing there going WTF?... then the property owners come out and talk to me, they told me that the washer and dryer are 100% complete working order and they just upgraded and didnt know what to do with them... I SNATCHED THOSE SUCKERS UP IN SECONDS... hooked them up at home.. work flawless
the only thing wrong is the washer has a black **** instead of a white one, BIG DEAL, i know :P

the next score was nothing special, but it consided of finding a bedframe to use for some queen mattresses that my parents gave to me... i finally got to replace my leaking waterbed!!! i made a headboard stand to hold up my original waterbed headboard, so i really love my bed now

nice score on the tv stand and the washer and dryer forget that nice score one everything!!!! dude... i think everyone i know has that same freaking puter stand...... and why ya got 2 monitors??? unless ya running another tower and i dont see it..

I remember the Junk Jaunt days on Army bases. We had them about every other month. You could score huge because of folks being transferred and not wanting to take stuff with them.
