My thoughts too. Lighten up guys. They're not the epitome of a V6. Geez.

Speaking first hand here. This week I'm out of town on business (why I couldn't attend the Michigan meet) and I have an '05 Mustang as a rental. I don't know the curb weight, HP, or torque. But, I will honestly tell you that I didn't know if it had a V6 or V8 simply because I was that impressed with the exhaust tones and acceleration (not to mention I never drive Ford products). I popped the hood and sure enough it was V6. Not a bad torque curve at all.

Interior...now that'* not my style at all. Very cheesy and tons of plastic. Uncomfortable.

As for gas mileage, I've been averaging about 25 MPG. And let me remind you...it'* a rental... Been driving it as such.

Don't overlook it a V6 stang.

The 05 has a completely different V6 than previous. The 2000-04 has a better 3.8 than the 95-99 paperweight. However, what'* the point of a Mustang? Look good, go fast. Well, mostly. If you want to look good and LOOK fast, sure, why not. The V6 isn't gonna win many drag races, but that'* not why someone buys a V6 Mustang, now is it.

For me, if I'm gonna buy a car to get an ok V6, it'll be a 4 door people mover. If I get a two door sporty car of any kind, it'll have a V8 and most likely a stick. IMO, a V6 auto Mustang only achieves half the image.
