Default How My GXP saved my life...

Lastnight as i drove back from Toronto then thought i would stop at a friends house for ****'* and giggles i peeled off the Highway and headed out to his place. The road to his house has some nice sweepers and some hard lefts and rights well up over the hill reaching well i won't mention speeds cause this isnt a race story lets just say i was going a weeee bit over posted

Anyways over the hill sweeping to the right ICE the *** end kicks left me being stupid counter steer then all of a sudden EXP 55 Stability System Active chimes up on the DIC and im again going straight so today i have been throwing the car in to 4 wheel drifts to see how far it will go before it wont come back and i must say WOW. I have it in my Yukon but who drives a Yukon like there Paul Tracy??

I have never been one for electrical gizmos that think they can drive better them me but im all for this one....

Now finding a way to disable it with the push of a button would be nice..

i like the feeling of a 4 wheel drift on a snow covered road...

Way to go GM cause with out it i might have a little bit of a headache this morning and a wrecked Bonne

Don't learn to rely on it. All good things fail when least expected.

oh for sure but its nice to know that there is something there if i ever get sloppy like that again.

And it still allows the driver to be in control. I think it just activates the ABS to each corner of the car right? but i was in trouble last night I knew it as soon as i felt the drift (wasnt what i was trying to do) i puckered up and almost kissed my Butt goodbye

I also love having stability control. It'* amazing how quickly it gets the car going straight again.

You'll know it was REALLY bad when you tear an *******-sized chunk of leather off the seat bottom when you get out.

I've had to repair my seats 34 times.

Usually excessive speeding on an icy/snowy road will cause a loss of control..

Higher than that for a GXP.
