I don't like the H2, but that site sure seems like a waste of effort and bandwidth. I also don't like the new GTO, Hondas, etc, but I don't run around flipping them off and coming up with reasons people shouldn't own them.

If somebody wants to waste thier money on a Suburban with an ugly body kit, let 'em. Sure, I could come up with a million ways that money could be better spent, but I sure ain't gonna rant, rave, and give myself an ulcer over it.

I was thinking the same thing, but couldn't come up with a family friendly way to say anything.

I still snicker once in a while when the commercial says "See you local Hummer dealer now"

Well, hmmm, I think she'* down on Hennepin Avenue......

I don't know why some people just have to buy the biggest SUVs. I guess it'* just about showing off and having the biggest and the best of everything.

Me myself, I don't get these urges.

I agree. Also, I drove the real HMMMWV in the Army. That thing is huge! Too wide to comfortably drive in City traffic, and the visibilty is horrid. I wouldn't get one (H1 or H2) for just that reason. I'd always feel like I was about to run somebody over because I couldn't see 'em.

I've driven big civilian trucks, BTW, with no problem. But the Hummer series just seems to be made wrong....

Whoever started that website is prolly jealous becuase they can afford an H2. Yah its on a Tahoe CHassie but big deal, old hummers are sweet but there not very luxury, the new H2 is more for luxury that off road use.
