Default How many trick or treaters ?

*How many kids showed up at your door tonight?

*What did you hand out?

*Did you decorate?

I had about 50 kids or so.
gave them MM peanuts.
and since it was a still night set up my fog machine and strobe light.
in the bushes.

I love Halloween

Holy crow....that'* nothing....I live across from a church that has a "candy carnival" free to all. Many of the "country folks" drive into town for it. They have free pony rides, hay rides, the inflatable bounce house, slide, and other huge inflatable things...games, cotton candy, etc etc etc. This year, I was only set up for one hour (got home from work at 5:30)....I ran out of candy on kid number 105 at 6:30. Last year, I had over 300 kids show up during the 2 hours I had candy.

I was dressed as a pirate....I hid on the dark side of my porch, luring the kids by leaving the candy out on the table unattended on the other side. I'd jump out behind them saying, "Aaarrggg There Matey!" It was sooooo funny....mean in a way, but funny as heck! I figured some parent would get mad at me...after all - we're probably not supposed to scare kids on halloween anymore are we?

OMG.. there were only 34 this year. Last year was 108. The years when its on a weekend are the worst. Lakeville now has 50K people in it vs. the 14K it had when I moved here in 1992. Back then there where about 3-10.
