Shouldnt break if you do it slow. I have installed many radios and most I had to pry upen the dash panel with a specual too much like a screwdriver but rounded on the end. Well I understand its easier said than done right. Good luck with the install and I hope you get it all figured out.

Thanks. I enjoy doing installs and have been thinking of picking up a few tools to help.
This may be a good excuse.

If all you need is power; why not save yourself the aggravation and grab those right at the fusebox? Thats where the radio gets them from anyways and its alot less work.

I had an 89 Celebrity with the 2.8L V6 up till 18months ago. I remember I pulled my cd deck out before I sold it but I can't remember how. I know I have Chiltons manual here for that car I will find the manual and look through it for you shortly!
