A lot of people do this, especially on older super street cars. If you're dropping in a crate engine, it'* easy to throw a tach at the back of your hood, then run the sending unit to the dash. Ask him what'* in it. It makes the car look like a damn wedge though.

yes but you can still just run the lines under the car into the front area (what do you call that on fieros anyways).

the car would be kind cool if it wasn't for the tumor....and the automatic.....and the stock I4...ok nevermind.

Actually the car would look cool if it wasnt for the hood growth.

BTW: Truewildman: its good to see my knowledge of this horrible disease is reaching the bonneville owning masses. Its nice to have an influence even on a web site.

That'* a Cowl Induction hood originally designed for muscle cars in the 60'* for their carburated engines to get cooler air from the cowl area.




Here'* a car with a hood tach(bulge behind Ram Air):



In 80 and 81all Turbo Trans Ams got the "boost gauge", the set of three lights in the hood bulge:

80 and 81 tas had some form of boost?
and about the fiero, it was worth every penny it sold for.
