I did some work on that tourus the other day... IT SUCKED! That has got to be the worst engine design i've worked on yet. anyhow, I replaced the distributer cap, the rotor, wires, and all the plugs. The cap had one post almost cracked off entirely, the rotor looked horrible, the wires where stamped with 1993 on the (so i think they where orignal!!!) and chaffed and shortin out on the block, and the plugs where prety coroded and overall shot. i also replaced a vacuume hose and check the MAF (it was clean). the car runs great now, but still needs a lot of work.
