Speaking of which, I read your posts above and realize how quickly humans, even those of us who consider ourselves peaceful and compassionate, will rise to gruesome acts of violence in the name of "socially correct" vengence...

And yet I don't exclude myself, somehow.

I never claimed to be a peaceful or compassionate. I'm Just vindictive. I look at this and see how someone infinitely more powerful abuses a defenseless creature, and it makes my blood boil. Not only that, but I love cats. Kittens especially. Cute little fluffy ones the most.

I come to be a VERY violent person towards someone when they abuse a animal . It is just plain sick and I agree with everyone else, Imagine what they could do to a child. :(

It sounds to me like this guy has some kind of mental illness. The story says he took off his clothes and then "swirled" the kittens in the oil? The guy obviously has something very wrong upstairs, and I agree that he is definitely a danger to himself and others.
I'm as much an advocate of castrating animal abusers as anyone else, but it sounds like this guy needs to be in an institution, not a prison.

You guys do realize that this individual was completely 100% mentally ill right? I mean, it isn't an excuse for what he did, but it'* not like he was even a person in his right mind at all.
