Holy CRAP! Rough landing...
He did the best job he could with those conditons. There'* no way that ATC should have had him landing there. They even said in the video he told ATC to shut down the runway and they routed him to an into the wind runway.
The man in the seat has to do what the man at the computer terminal tells him but you have to know when to tell ATC they're wrong.
He would've had a lot better landing if he rotated a little later. But if you're to far off the runway you COULD have landing gear failure. Would be nice if airbus had gear that swivels to the runway.
Stupid europeans. All hail Boeing. Too bad airbus just got the contract for the Air Force'* new refueler. Guess they need it with the A380 fiasco. Boeing'* 787 is looking like a winner.
