Did you replace the rear plugs since you had everything else off to get back there?

I replaced the spark plugs last month when I first got the car (got it with 123k and they were factory plugs). It'* not too difficult, just have to take that dang EGR valve off (which tends to scrape up your hands while trying to get down to the exhaust manifold to unbolt the tube)

Brian,

Sorry that happened. Lot'* of GXPs on the market today with blown engines. You might be able to get exact color GXP with blown engine for price of hood and bumper, maybe make some cash on the mishap. The bumper and hood come on and off without to much hassle. Not sure how sun fade may impact the color match.

Looked like it came out of the truck that was ahead of me a little ways. He had a bed full of junk

LOL luckily I have good reaction and don't scare easily. Saw it coming early enough to brace but didn't have time to do anything but hold on

It looked like a pole/post mounted on a square plate approximately 1-2ft in length. Was definitely metal.

No worries I have full coverage, insurance is taking care of it as a no-fault accident.
