Yeah, thats what my left hand looked like after they got done stitching it up last time I did something stupid. Side note: Don't ever reach down the side of an engine (belt side) when its running. Hands and alternator blades are not the best of friends, and if you have to ask, yes the alternator blade will win.
Hope yah heal up good.

Guess what ladies and gents....November 2nd I get to go back for yet another job. And again...both hands get the treatment
As it sits, my left pinky, left pointer, and right middle are needing releasing now. This makes my 4th surgery in 2 years, and all fingers but the left thumb and right pinky, and my doc expects those to go bad after this session.
Genetics suck. I feel for my son...by my reckoning, he should be feeling these same effects around 16-18 years old. (Dad started feeling his at 26 I think he said, I started at 23 I think).

Yeah sorry to hear it buddy.. I knew that was coming..
After seeing you work with your hands while working on my car or yours I could see the issues coming back again... Not to mention some of the odd swelling you get from time to time..

My doc couldnt believe how long it took for the "good" fingers to go bad. I asked him how much further into the future it was for cybernetic implants, and he just looked at me and chuckled.

I gotta go there sometime soon too, Brad.
An old broken screw from an old repair is backing out of the 5th metacarpal in my right hand (nearly through the skin). Getting slowly worse over time.
Godspeed, happy vicodin man.
