When it comes to your health, no cost is too much!! I would get to the doctors and get the correct medication for your sinus infection. If anything, pay off the bill a little at a time.

Also, how are you getting scripts written without a doctor??

How long are you taking these for? You usually need to take an antibiotic for about 10 days, or else the infection will come back. Also, if you don't take a full dose all the time, the viruses or bacteria (whatever infection you could have) will adapt and mutate making the medicine useless. If it'* a virus you'll just have to wait it out.

I had a bad tonsil infection last December and I took Augmentin, which is a very powerful drug.

She was likely suggesting tetracycline. At high doses, it can really knock things out. It can also cause stomach problems as it has to be taken on an empty stomach. Have you seen a doctor for this? That'* the best course of action.

There'* typically two types of sinus infections. The bacterial ones will clear up with meds. The viral ones are taken care of quite well with what Don said above.

A product called Ocean or saline nasal spray works wonders to get the junk out of there.

I have chronic sinus problems, so I'm used to dealing with this stuff.

But yea, go see a doc.
