I know the GTP IS a hot car. Hell, I'd love to get something like that But I'm concerned with the reliability of the 3.4 V6 in 'em, foremost, and I also want decent fuel mileage, a decent insurance premium and, to a lesser degree, ride comfort and such. I'm even wondering if the ride of the base Grand Prix will be supple enough for me. Hehe, I know, I'm a big panzy, no need to say it, I know Strill need to find time between school classes to test drive the one south of me... But thanks for the input, I do appreciate it

Whoa, hold up there, buddy. The GTP has the supercharged 3800 V6. And the ride is pretty good compared to the smaller cars. My best friend'* GTP gets 28mpg, if he keeps his foot out of it. :P

94-96 Grand Prix, bud You're referring to the 97 and up Grand Prix. And I just don't have the money for one of those...

Wow. Just looked it up. I was under the impression that all GTP'* were supercharged. Apparently, the 1996 GTP did indeed have a 3.4 DOHC. I stand corrected.
