Didn't you ever have a hard time with the tint? Up here they bust em big time for that.

Same here....if you get pulled over for illegal tint, they make you peel it off on the spot, or the car gets impounded, and they remove it.

He wrote it up for 75 in a 55. I was doing better than 80. This is the first time in nearly 4 years that I've seen a cop on the highway on my way to work. As soon as I saw him I knew I was getting it, then our eyes met and he pointed at me and I pulled over just passed where he was sitting. LOL what can I say, the car rides so smooth you don't even notice you're going way too fast. I don't usually break my '10 over' rule.

He was actually rather decent. After I told him I just got the car registered he showed me everything else that a *stickler* might nail me for: bald tires, no front plate, and in addition to the completely illegal rear window tint he said the front side windows looked too dark too.

Bandit warned me about the front plate but I just haven't had time to fab a bracket and mount it, I been keeping it in the front window; which he says doesn't count. I find that funny because if you go to the DMV and report the plate lost; they give you a paper tag to tape to your front window.

btw - this is my first ticket of any sort in 12 years.

no sir. not once. i had a similar setup on my mustang and got pulled over a whole bunch of times for it.
