Default Half crippled from tile project. Pics

The wife and I finally decided that this was the weekend to do the tile project in the bathroom. I spent 3 days of prep and 2 more setting and finishing the tile on my knees. Both of them are swolen and they hurt like everlasting hell.

This was my first ceramic tile project. It was a little complex for a first project with the accent tiles but we didn"t want just a plain layout. Those days I actually stayed awake during geometry class really paid off.

Here'* some pics:

Well done!!! Well done my man. That looks very nice.
Are those 6" tiles?
1/2" or 1/4" wonderboard?
I did the bathroom in my brother and his wife'* new (to them) house two weeks ago, but I skimped and used simple 12" ceramic tiles and only needed 28 tiles so it was a fairly quick job. No color scheme either ..just making sure they all lined up evenly.
He only bought 30 tiles and I used up 29 since I F.U.B.A.R. 'ed one when cutting for under the stool.

Yea, 6" tile and 1/4" Wonderboard. We figured that the room would appear larger with the smaller tiles and the room could use the help. I only broke two tiles while cutting the outside corner on the right side of most of the pics. It was too thin to cut so I ended up using two small pieces. I used a 4 1/4" angle grinder with a funky dry blade. worked well but made a mess out of my basement.

6" tile looks alot better and requires more patience, which we didn't have -we were redoing the whole house upstairs and downstairs with a 6 day time limit as that is all they had from the closing date until they had to be out of their apartment.
The 6" tile definitely does give a room a larger feel to it, and with custom strips with angled center tile giving it a really nice affect.
