Default Had an offer today....

Ok well I have received the paper work from Massive Audio got that the other day and have dropped it off to a friend knowledgeable in the Car sponsorship area of things...

Well I went to the shop where I purchased the Equipment and talked to the mgr and Bus Mgr

Massive wants them to build a Car for CES in Las Vega January 2008. Well they thought about me and My GXP hmmm so we got on the phone talked to someone they know at Massive Head Office while on hold i was told .

1. I supply the car at my cost.
2. they provide everything.
3. I would have 100% creative control on what was done because essentially it is my car. ( )
4. I would have to give up my car for 2 months maybe less For it to go on display and tour for Massive. ( enclosed transport provided ) that kind of works since its going away this winter.

So Jon **** Yawn answers Louis tell him what kind of car I have and why he feels it fits. Right away Yawn says ummmm I really don't think thats what we are looking for its not going to meet our demographic (then some other Blah Blah) I didnt really hear. He said Tuner... We at Massive ae trying to break in and to compete with what everyone else is doing we need to show what our products can do in there cars. (Ok good point) Bring me a tuner and you got a deal. and I guess tuner covers Cobalt SS/SC Solstice and G6..

Any ways long story short at the end of the call I pitch this IF i can have my Bonneville done and 100% ready AND i commit to supply the "Tuner" car Will you take both to CES (maybe something can be worked out he says. (NICE)

I'm not stupid and I have been doing this for a while mostly for others but here'* my chance for ME. Oh and in the paper work from Massive for ME and my Bonneville was for me cost less 75% and I pay the labor to install. not bad the 800.00 subs just became 200.00

So I need some help in deciding what I will be purchasing come Sept. and the Solstice is out due to space requirements and I don;t care for it, theres one here I can drive when ever.

here'* my list

Cobalt SS/SC
VW city golf
Avenger ?
Lancer
Audi A3
Mazda Speed 3

thats my short list any others or pick one of them

Why a City Golf? That'* the old version, which won't be as good as a MK V, in which case, I would point you towards the GTI (i'm looking at getting a DSG one this week or two here..

Lancer = why bother when there'* the Evo
Avenger is junk, Mazdaspeed 3 is hard to get ahold of, but it'* a rocket.

I mentioned City golf because I have no clue whats out there basically.

I'm trying to find something between 18 and 23,000 Canadian. I dont want to sink a house into this car. But I want to cram a house worth of Free electronics into it hahaha

And remember this is just something to jam stuff into make look nice loud and show what The companies stuff does and why its better.

My choice out of that list, though, would have to be the A3. I really like it as a car, and I think it could be used as an awesome show car.

Why not a Malibu Maxx SS??

Those have some SERIOUS potential that nobody seems to be tapping into.
