Default Had a look at a Buick

2002 Buick Regal GS Supercharged.
18500 miles, asking 16,500 usd (conversion). Local car, one owner, its at a dealership..that is the exact usd Bluebook retail value on that car. It has the charcoal interior.
I took it out for a ten minute drive tonight, what can I say, the odometer might as well read 1850 miles, because its like new. Fully optioned..sun roof..TC..Onstar, and GM powertrain warranty remaining.
I really like it, thats for sure..I know my Bonneville cant be worth a whole lot to them, but might be worth just a shot..ballpark, I can afford the Regal, undecided. Same thing as a bonny, just less options generally..No HUD, no DIC, but it does have a digital Boost gage.

Thats the car I looked at.

good cars but dont go crazy with the mods like I did and abuse the he** out of it like I did or things will go wrong.....fuel pump for example....oh and dont expect more than 15 mpg if you drive hard either......trust me I miss my Buick, but my Max is FUN (although slower)

After driving a month with no HUD and DIC, I'm not going back. Have you thought about going a couple years older? You can save a TON by doing that.

the Regal would be a reliable low-cost vehicle. It was my second choice to buying the Aurora.. They're great vehicles! I would consider it if I were you.. Just think if you can live without some of the Options your BOnneville has. Just remember though that you'll also be gaining several options the Bonneville doesn't have.

Buicks fuel pump took a crap at about the same time a side airbag sensor took a similar crap, and it coincided with gas prices over 3 a gallon......and my son needed more rear legroom...and we just happened to have a rare example of Nissan on our used lot that I got at basically wholesale price, and got 500 more than KBB for my Buick in trade (although that still put me over my head...jeez these GMs have horrible resale)

You do realize that a regal is NOT an h-body, right? It'* a W. The Lesabre is the Buick H-bod. A Regal is a nice car, but not so fun to work on as a Bonneville or other H-body.
