Had an Interview today

Good luck getting the job. Should be nice to have a set schedule. I know the first day I started my new job and saw that the place was deserted at 5:15, I knew I made the right choice. I expect you'll have a very similar experience if you get it.
Does the paycut include the overtime hours you were working?
And now you'll have more time to visit

Every weekend off would be fantastic. We've got people that think the same as I (free weekends=more meets) I haven't had weekends off since I was 11; certainly never in my entire adult life. Thats going to feel a little odd to me at first. I've always been a worker. and toss in 7hr shifts instead of 8... Well at least that job couldn't be less boring than this one. LOL
Oh I do enjoy working my 2nd shift job. I stay up as late as I want. I NEVER have to set an alarm clock. I have most of the day to take care of stuff (appt'*, errands...). You've all seen the raises and OT I get.... Its just a bit lonely :( thou since everyone is working/school while I'm home and they're home when I'm working.
What I would end up giving up to take the job is Free parking, less in medical benefits, OT (no OT at the county), great raises, and a few $k in salary.
