so, my fiance has an interview tomorrow - at eaton. just thought id share that with you. its for an internship. its her first interview for something like this, within her chosen field of expertise. [mechanical engineering]

update.

she got the internship. apparently this plant is desperate for interns for this summer - theyre implementing lean six sigma. so she starts immediately after her finals.

oh, in case you were wondering, this plant does a lot with hydraulics, not blowers.

after she graduates. she doesnt want to mess with planning a wedding until after shes done with school.

which im perfectly fine with - her mom pulls all financial support once we get married. while her mom is in no way supporting me, nancy pays $8k a semester for school [out-of-state tuition]. i can barely afford my in-state tuition, much less hers. so for the reasons mentioned above, we will be waiting to get married until she graduates [shes in the masters program, so she has 2 years left. ironically, im going for a bachelors and i have 2 years left].

if youre wondering, weve been together for 3 years.
