If this get into the gulf stream it will be all over the entire east coast then on to Europe.

I just heard on the radio that underwater currents have shifted and it'* heading undersea towards FLA right now. Meanwhile BP has stuck a mile long "straw" in the leak and patting themselves on the back for "now pulling an undetermined amount out of the flow. Given the present flow rate, I doubt it any more than a "feel good" measure.
