BTW, is that pic of your car in your sig how it looks now?
I imagine that after you get pinned to the seat after dropping the hammer, it won't matter what the d*** thing looks like!!!

Very true, but I guess it would be my dad who would be 'dropping the hammer' as I don't know how to drive stick yet... either that or I will have to drop my foot on the accelerator on an automatic version... :?

Yes, but we don't have any standard transmission cars, my dad has the GTP, I have the SSE, and my mom has an Explorer Eddie Bauer... I asked my freind if I could try on his car but he said no, I even promised to let him drive my bonneville and pay for it if I messed it up and had to get it repaired, he still said no.

Well, when your dad gets the GTO, just say, "Y'know, Daddyo, it is your responsiblity to teach me to drive the best I can, including manual shift...and, well, we have one now..."

Ahh yes I pray for that day!!!! My dad always wanted a 'weekend car' to have for the summer time, and was a little bit less than thrilled with our ford explorer, so the mustang is out. So I told him about the new GTO and he read the article in my road and track and he wants to take a closer look at one. If we did end up getting one it wouldn't be untill april/mayish because of the great Cleveland winters we got coming up...
