thats the words i was looking for. they got it on the same base and the HSV that woulda been bad *** to see come back with the LS1 engine. i sat in the SSR at the boston auto show. and they put some nice detail in it. if you see it with the top off while looking at the door from the outside of the vehicle look to the left of the door lock. (pin that goes up and down to lock and unlock) its got a chevy symbol cut into the weather stripping. just thought i would point that out as i was the only one of 7 of us to notice it. thought it was a cool discovery

Agreed, totally. If they had retro-designed the GTO, it would sell more. That'* why I read that GM will now take the time and money to redesign it.

If the damn car designers would just take the time in the first place.....things would be so much better....

Its wierd...all those people to design...and they have some good ideas...but the cars/trucks come out..and it only take 4 of us to tell them how the f'd it all up...and will a little more
work...it would have been great?!?!!?!?

Look at a lightning pickup....cool truck...exhaust out ONE SIDE!
Then the bring out that cool looking Boss yellow and black truck...and don't put the lightning motor in it?!?!?
just stupid stuff like that gets me going....

I personally like the GTO, but everyone has their own opinions. My Dad and I are going to the dealership to look at them on wednesday, so I could have a whole new opinion on them if they even have any in.
