Nah, those aren't that bad. Wait'll you can see the rotor vanes through the disc face...Now that'* BAD 
A friend sent a car to the mechanic with "brakes that made a weird sound, like a machinegun" it turned out the face was worn away to the point that the pads were touching the vanes along the outer edge. The rotors had been resurfaced, and for some reason the pads just CUT into the outer edge and never touched the inner portion of the disc.

Yep, sounds like the caliper slides may be possibly sticking causing the pads to wear differently. I had that probem with my rear rotors on my explorer and it ground the inboard side so bad I could see the vents!!
