So my parents are going through some financial troubles right now, and the telephone was the bottom of the priority list so our house phone got shut off yesterday. So what'd my mom do? Jacked my cell phone!! Ahhhh!! It'd be different if it'd been my last phone b/c she paid for it, but I paid for this phone AND I keep minutes on it. Why'd they have to take my phone? Now I don't know what time it is.

As a parent, I would imagine they don't feel great about having to take your phone.
Try to be supportive of them. Imagine how a parent, who is supposed to be a provider, feels when they have to take from their child.
I mean, I totally understand that it sucks not having your phone. I feel for you.
Just thought maybe looking at the big picture would help you deal with it a bit easier.

Or make dem go pay da bill

Consider this helping them out for all of the times they helped you out and kept a roof over your head.

Maybe you can buy them a prepaid phone with 100 minutes on it for christmas and hopefully get your phone back.

Although i just realized the first two replies are prolly right, unless you are paying rent. Could have at least asked though :(

Well I don't mind giving it to her b/c she does have the baby at home and everything, but still kinda annoying. I go for years without a phone, and I get one for 2 weeks and my mom'* got it. lol

It'* her right for changing your diapers...

it'* good you are understanding and she should have a phone with the baby there.

You could check the time on your Barney watch. Been a while since you heard that...lol
