What'* a US tour without visiting Niagara Falls? I've got spare beds (but the dog is rather friendly... just ask Gonneville and Bandit). There'* the Buffalo Interational Airport, the Niagara Falls airport... and a little airport about 10 mins from me (they skydive there). I'm not that far from Ohio, really, I'm not. 
Then off to Rochester/Syracuse, and then ....OH! I got it!
... think about it... fly across the country and back... you'd be the first member to do that (in a plane that is). Plan on making it out to Conneticut in MAY and you attend NEBF 2007. Boosty'* house is right next to the airport. He takes in strays all the time.
